Political science is the systematic study of power.

Political science asks important questions about how power is achieved, how it is legitimized, how it is wielded, and how it is contested. Through the lens of political science, students at Marlboro gained a better understanding of how societies are governed and how states interact with their own citizens as well as other states, international organizations, and non-state actors. Students also considered the ethics of power and conceptions of community, identity, justice, and citizenship.
